i work in a cell culture lab and we isolated a parainfluenza type 3 from a throat swab from an intra-uterine demise fetus. I have never hear of this before and i be just wondering how is this possible if the fetus never even breathed?Fetus throat swab?
I would own to say it be transmitted through the mother's blood into the fetus.
