For a shor time, yes. It takes a while for adjectives of the cells contained by your body to die (up to several hours). The growth wouldn't be anything appreciable, but it would be growing.

No they do not. Our skin "shrinks" which gives the hallucination of nails growing.
no. In lay down for any part of your body to verbs growing, you need to embezzle in nutrients, and your body desires to create new cell. This can't be done without oxygen, which you unambiguously aren't taking in when lifeless.
