Is it ok to drink alcohol about 10 days after have your appendix removed due to appendicitis?Drinking after have your appendix removed?
The usual recommendations are to avoid alcohol for 24 hrs. postop. No alcholol while on throbbing meds. Work back to a regular diet over the following 3-4 weeks and if your regular diet includes alcohol, later you have your answer.
Well, are you still on antibiotics??Any signs of infection??Fever, reddishness or leakage from the surgical site?? How much alcohol do you plan on drinking?? If it's purely a couple of beers, then that should be ok.If you are still on an antibiotic, hang about until you finish the full course.
