I've had monthly pedicures for going on for a year. Yesterday i took the polish off and I've get this white stuff on my toe nails. I go to a doc in the box at the grocery store and the nurse truly googled photos of nail fungus to compare my nail to. She couldn't tell me for sure that i have fungus but suggested I see a specialist. So I walked subsequent door to the spa where I bring back my nails done (it's a medical spa.. super verbs..single use equipment). The nail tech(who say she took a class on diseases of nails) told me it's not fungus it's dryness because the nail polish is drying to the fastener. I have have polish on them constantly for a year. So who do I believe?Ever hear of "dry nails"?
Go with the pin tech at the spa; she'd have see other cases where folks had fungus or dry nail.
I have that same problem. Only my nail literally rotted off. Oh, they grew rear legs though. Somehow, the nail polish wouldn't agree to my toe nails breath I guess. the enamel be so hard and it purely suffocated my toe nails. I didn't enjoy that problem with my fingernails. I presume the coating has alot to do next to it, I'm not sure. Just let your toes nail rest. Whenever you shower, the water penetrates the nail. It's like watering a plant. They rejuvenate and grow again. I would freshly lighten up on the coating. That help me. Another idea is that the acetone (chemical) to remove the infirm polish damaged the staple before the trial polish was applied. I don't know, it's merely my guess.
