Incidentally, a thaw pack held over the ear will be very comforting, and is other less messy than reheat oil drops.
Or if you don't enjoy heat wad try a few drops of warm grease.

The best thing that works contained by my house is
a homeopathic stuff...I usually dont believe in it but when your desperate you'll try anything.
It can be used beside your meds. I'm at work or I could tell you the autograph of it. It comes in a ginger box, its located with the other ear and eye drops and it say homeopathic right on it.
I've found it at walmart.
