They found a "suspicious mass" in my dad's colon. They are doing a sigmoid flex and biopsy Thursday. Do we acquire the results right away? Or not till the next week?Does anyone know how long it take to achieve biopsy results?
Only the place where on earth you have it done can answer that. Some places own to send the indication off and it could whip up to a week. Other places have labs on site that can grasp the results back within as little as 24 hrs.
unless it was taken at a university med. center it may embezzle about a week
