Does anyone know why I one leg would swell from the knees down and not the other.?
I have see this with DVT's (deep capillary thrombosis) or blood clot, diabetics with poor circulation, arthritis.but it could be terribly dangerous and even deadly. Don't move too much and go to the ER straight
You must have something wrong next to either the circulation or the integrated of the knee is diseased. Arthritis will motive swelling from the knee down. I enjoy had the problem several times.
Blood clots motive leg swelling like that. It can be a serious entity. If you haven't already, I suggest going to the doctor.
It could be for many different reason, but one of them, a deep artery thrombosis, can be potentially fatal, so please see your doctor in a jiffy.
It could be a blood clot
You could have clots surrounded by that knee blocking blood flow, thus cause the blood to be squeezed into the surrounding tissues.
There could be a few reasons. Is within pain contained by your calf? It could be a blood clot. If there is agony, especially when you flex your foot, go to the ER tonight.
