For anyone who know anything almost radiology/x-rays, PLEASE HELP PUT MY MIND AT EASE?

Ok, so i had a regular x-ray done on my finger due to a mass that have been growing for several months immediately. the radiologist said that the xray just showed swelling, so is nearby any possibility that it could be a type of soft tissue sarcoma? ive heard that xrays dont other show soft tissue tumors as cancer. For anyone who know anything almost radiology/x-rays, PLEASE HELP PUT MY MIND AT EASE?
X-rays are designed to look at bones because they are dense and the X-rays can't penetrate them so they show up clearly on motion picture. Soft tissue is less dense so is paler to spot but swelling can be see as the outlines will be bigger than usual. Some cancers can be clearly see on x-rays as they are masses of tissues which don't in general occur so the radiologist will see something which shouldn't be at hand. Swelling doesn't sound close to a cancerous tissue mass, if they are concerned about the swelling they will rob a sample and experiment it. If they used the word swelling they weren't talking almost a growth, it doesn't sound similar to it's anything to worry in the order of.
Cancer can be seen within x-rays, scans and MRI's. If it's soft afterwards it's not a cancer. Cancer lumps or masses discern hard. It is probably a cyst, those can occur anywhere. Don't worry you are fine I am sure. Take thoroughness!
X-rays only show injury of the bone. They can't diagnose soft tissue. Swelling could be closely of things-why on earth would you leap to the conclusion that it's a sarcoma?! Go back to the doctor that ordered the x-ray and see where on earth they think you should stir from there. Take a weighty breath and try to stay in the moment! Good luck!
youre fine. live enthusiasm!
